Ms Joy
On October 06, 2009 Ms Joy suffered 1st 2nd, and 3rd
degree burns from a grease fire in the kitchen. She is a single mom
with four children and five grandchildren. She is the heartbeat of
Joy's Bar. She has a long road ahead of her with the healing process.
She does not have sufficient health insurance coverage. Her bar is her
only source of income and we are now in the slow season.
The bad
economy and poor bike week season has made things a bit rough financially.
We the entire
staff are working for free to help her recover and get through this. We will be doing
benefit shows and fundraisers to help her. Please come visit the bar
often and help us help Ms Joy. All tips and donations are greatly
appreciated and will go directly to assisting Ms Joy.

12/20/09 Update: The bar is now closed for the
season. We are looking for a new location to deliver better services
to our patrons.
